Mast A represents a 10 m guy-wired mast,
Mast B refers to a 10 m self-supporting mast.
my!WIND 10 kW nacelle and controller price is fixed.
Costs for other items are indicative (based on current supplier quotations and experience).
Gin-poles for easy installation (winch, vehicle) are optional;
one pole can serve several my!WIND turbines in a region.
Taller mast heights increase total costs (touch "mast" for details).

We can deliver entire turbines on turnkey basis or our 10 kW nacelle along with components and services.
my!WIND provides support through the entire construction process.
Turbine are usually connected to the grid; we have also built two battery-based island systems.

Mast options
We can deliver
- masts from our subcontractor in Estonia (price quotation)
- drawings to a local steel workshop of your choice (your price)
All our masts are designed for my!WIND turbines, incl. static stability reports.
Mast options:
Height | Segments | Type | Cost (€) |
10 m | 2 | guy-wired | 1,250 |
18 m | 3 | guy-wired | 2,150 |
10 m | 2 | self-supporting | 2,250 |
16 m | 3 | self-supporting | 5,350 |

Foundations
All our foundations can be made locally or pre-fabricated. We have even tested mobile foundations to relocate turbines!
We prefer concrete blocks over earth anchors for guy-wired masts to avoid costs for soil investigations.
Foundation types:
Mast | Type | Size(s) | Total mass |
10 m | guy-wired | 5x 1.1 m³ | 13,270 kg |
18 m | guy-wired | 5x 1.1 m³ | 13,270 kg |
10 m | self-supporting | 1x 2.5 m³ | 5,250 kg |
16 m | self-supporting | 1x 3.8 m³ | 9,975 kg |
Foundations are made from C20/C25 concrete, regular reinforcement steel and threaded bars. my!WIND provides detailed construction drawings.
Tall guy-wired masts are much cheaper than self-supporting ones despite more foundation mass.
Optional: Ginpole
Ginpoles are installation tools, allowing to lift up and lay down my!WIND turbines easily with a winch or vehicle.
Ginpoles are made for each mast type.
One ginpole can be shared for several my!WIND turbines in a region.

Shipment
Nacelles are shipped pre-assembled for plug-in on standard Euro-pallets.
Pallets are boxed with plywood before loading.
Rotor blades come in plywood boxes (ca. 3 m in length), with pallet bars for easy fork- or pallet lifter handling.
Mast segments and pre-fabricated foundations are delivered on cargo trucks, if ordered from my!WIND.
Grid-tie inverter
Inverters convert electric power with changing frequencies into alternating current with 50 Hertz grid frequency.

Prices of different manufacturers reach up to 5,000 EUR excl. VAT.
Turbine installation
Installation is easy and quick thanks to the modular my!WIND concept (flanges, non-interchangeable plugs).
No special tools, no crane.
Grid connection
Any electrician can do the connection; most inverters can be parametrised via internet, unless pre-set anyway.
Regular circuit breakers are required.
